Diverse group of "Musicians for Missions" visit Apache

Labor of Love with YWAM Southern Plains Native Ministries"Labor of Love,” a team of seven people from Thailand, Norway, Latvia and the United States, came to minister in the Caddo County area Jan. 11-25.  The group is a part of Musicians for Missions, a ministry of Youth With a Mission International and came in association with Youth With A Mission Southern Plains in Apache.

The team stayed at Grace Christian Fellowship in Anadarko. Native Ministries performance - Apache OklahomaThey shared worship and testimonies at Cedar Creek United Methodist Church, Carnegie; Victory Assembly of God, The Christian Center of Anadarko, Oakridge Fellowship, Acorn Day Care and Grace Christian Fellowship, all in Anadarko. They also shared their culture with some of the students from Riverside Indian School in Anadarko.

The musicians on the tour have been studying music in Santa Fe, NM for the last three months and are now on the application phase of the school where they go out and use the training they have received by playing their music and sharing their cultures with others.  They spent two weeks ministering in prisons in the Santa Fe area before coming to Oklahoma. After their visit to Oklahoma, they will be ministering in Texas for one week and then in Mexico for a month.
